Glow Plug Tester

Introduction:

- To help diagnosing the condition of glow plug without

        removing it from the engine.

- Working for 12V system, tester can be energized by 12V

        vehicle batter directly.

- The 6 LEDs will indicate the condition of the glow plug

         and the vehicle battery.

Description:

1.)12V Battery clips.

2.)Testing probe.

3.)LED Indicator.

Operation:

1.)  Switching off the engine, disconnect the wire

       connecting with the glow plug.

2.)  Connect the black battery clip to the negative

       of the 12V battery, and the red battery clop to

       the positive of the 12V battery.

3.)  Push the testing probe to contact with the glow

       plug properly.

4.)  Red the LED indication:

-Glow plug is short circuit.

-Current is greater than 16A. If the LED light up for

        less than 3 seconds, it is normal. If the LED light

        up for more than 3 seconds, glow plug has problem.

-Glow plug is in good condition.

-Glow plug has problem, resistance is too high.

-Glow plug is open circuit

-Voltage of vehicle batter is too low, not enough to

        complete the test.
